Offense: Alex boasts good offense, being able to suffocate the opponent close up, he struggles when facing zoners, Saki in particular is a rough matchup where Alex has to pick and choose when to close in as she can just use B Bullet and hold him away or dance in the sky. Despite having monstrous offense he can get outclassed by opponents with similar if not better rushdown like Zero or Polimar.

Choosing to use Alex is choosing to walk the hard path, but the reward is great. Let's get started

Approach

This is basically your only problem with Alex. He has no projectiles, his only defense for projectiles (Flash Chop#) sucks on ice, his dash is just okay, and he can't double jump. Your gameplan is to basically watch for whiffs and poke them right out.

As far as approaches he has two:

Elbow Slash: This may as well not be a special and just be a normal. If the opponent whiffs an attack for any reason, the elbow can come out flying, with a stock of BBQ (which Alex most assuredly should have), he can convert to an easy 15B before getting bursted.

j.C: Despite how absolutely trash this move is....it kinda works? Maybe it's the crushing speed of it, but it is faster than 6C, and staggers so you can confirm basically anything. If Ryu is chucking hadoukens and not really paying attention Alex can just fly right over them and get a free combo.
