Terminology
A brief overview of terms commonly used in TvC:

Baroque/BBQ | The Roman Cancel of TvC. If your character has any red life, you can cancel any non-super move by pressing an attack button and the partner button (e.g., Light + Partner). This action resets your character back to neutral, allowing you to perform a new action. It also refreshes your double jump and air dash. This is also referred to as BBQ. |
Baroque Unblockable | Plinking Baroque with an attack with fast startup causes it to come out in zero frames, meaning any character who isn't in block animation cannot block it. |
