Strider Hiryu is the most famous member of a clandestine organization of assassins known as the Striders, from Capcom's arcade platformer series Strider. Utilizing his trademark laser-powered Cipher blade, his various robotic animal companions, he seeks to defeat the mysterious Grandmaster Meio, who appeared to rule the Earth one day. He's still on this journey in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite's story mode, getting a surprising amount of spotlight time. Fitting, as he's also one of the most standout and iconic characters to appear in Capcom's roster for the Marvel vs. Capcom series, even getting a new sequel after his popularity from appearing in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.
