Dante is the stylish, goofy protagonist of Capcom's genre-defining Devil May Cry series of action games. A paranormal investigator who just barely scrapes by enough to keep his office doors open, each game he stars in kicks off with him getting engrained in a conflict with some demonic force or another that seeks to take over the world; he just can't seem to run from his past, as he himself is half-demon, the son of Sparda, a powerful demon with incredible strength who fought for control of the demon realm. Collecting various flashy weaponry over the course of each game as he kicks demon ass, he brings his arsenal from Devil May Cry 3, including the sword Rebellion, his twin handguns Ebony & Ivory, and many more to Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. Bold Cancel: Dante has the ability to cancel normals and certain specials into Bold Cancel which is a type of jump that can create new combo opportunities or keep him safe on block where he is normally not. He also has the ability to cancel specials into a new version of themselves by double tapping the input, often unlocking a very strong special attack.
