Introduction

Master Armorer of the Lin Kuei

"Sektor grew up immersed in Lin Kuei culture. Her mother was a leading warrior, her father was its Master Armorer. Sektor marveled at his flawless work. Apprenticing with him, she eventually surpassed her father's skills. When he retired, she took his place. But Sektor also wanted to honor her mother’s legacy. Now her vast knowledge of weaponry and her formidable martial skills make Sektor a kombatant like no other. Sensing Sektor was a kindred spirit, Sub-Zero shared with her his grand vision for the Lin Kuei's future. She joined his efforts immediately. Now Sub-Zero’s most trusted lieutenant, Sektor will force the Lin Kuei to evolve. Those who cannot change will be eliminated."

Sektor is a Zoner cyber-ninja with Rushdown/Mixup qualities that excels at playing neutral with advancing/retreating moves and mobility tools (as well as projectiles and counterzoning tools) to keepaway and/or open opponents up for kombos; some of her tools include a fast/safe advancing Mid string that cancels into aerial specials (F212), a fast/safe Low (B3), a safe 24f Overhead (B2), an unsafe 23f Low (F3) that puts her in an airborne state and can be delayed/cancelled, and an unsafe but advancing 11f Mid (F4) that leaves her airborne. (Air) Thrust Boost (Jump + Flip Stance) propels her in-air momentarily in 1 of 3 jump directions (with each consecutive boost costing 1 bar of meter), which can be used to continue pressure and/or extend kombos when cancelled into after jump attacks or F4/F43; her DB4 teleport can also be used while grounded/airborne to launch or extend juggles. Her straight BF1 projectile becomes a Mid when Enhanced and destroys projectiles while also causing damage over time on hit, while her directable DB1 projectile can also be Enhanced to destroy projectiles and becoming homing missiles; her DB2 anti-air and DB1 aerial projectile options can also be used to start/extend kombos. Flamethrower (BF2) has armor when Enhanced; the second hit will not occur on whiff/block but can be performed for 1 bar of meter. Blast Shield (DB3) can be held to absorb opponent projectiles and cancel into projectiles (or other specials when Enhanced); absorbing a projectile or cancelling her S2 charge will also buff Sektor to gain a safe retreating attack option from her next S2 charge.
