Strengths Weaknesses
  • Corner Lockdown: It can be extremely difficult to escape Kan's pressure when you're at the wall, sitting on sand while he pins you down with Swarm and Clutch.
  • Crumbles on Defense: Kan has no invincible reversal until he has a sand trap up, and it costs health to use. S Whirl has among the shortest reach of all shadow counters.


Universal Mechanics

Instinct

Curse of Drought: Kan-Ra can perform super-jumps, super-dashes, Sacrifice, and cast tornadoes without needing a sand trap.

Combat Traits

Curse of Weight: After throws or Stings, the opponent will have reduced movement speed, attack speed, and jump speed for a short time.

Spike Linkers: Kan-Ra can start a combo off his long-range bandage normals by cancelling into the linker version of Spike.

A very quirky aerial attack. Kan-Ra drops down perfectly vertically causing a splash of sand when he touches the ground, increasing in size when done at higher altitudes.

Dune counts as a grounded heavy so it beats armor, and destroys projectiles despite looking like a strike.

  • Deals 6 hits when low to the ground.

Being a multihit projectile, combos are scaled heavily and reaching Level 4 is unlikely without investment.
