Story

I'm goin' ghost!

Danny Fenton was just fourteen when his parents built a very strange machine. From the series of the same name, Danny Phantom is the half-ghost hero who saves his home from the supernatural threats of the ghost zone. His adventures take him far and wide, including an All Star Brawl!

Gameplay

Danny Phantom is a mix-up type character who excels at stage control by being able to quickly reposition himself. Just like a real ghost, your opponent won't know where you're coming from until you give them a scare! He's also one of the only 'floaty' characters in the game and can jump higher than other fighters.

He attacks very quickly and can chase opponents down just as fast to chain them off the edge, and his recovery has an impressive reach that can facilitate going deep to take the stock. If you're a platform fighter veteran who knows how to command the stage, perfect your positioning, and capitalize off some devastating combos, with Danny as your fighter of choice your opponents won't stand a ghost of a chance!

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Movement: Danny’s air mobility synergies greatly with his unique normals, granting him an effective combo game and the ability to chase down opponents extremely effectively
  • Off-Stage Play: Danny’s double jump goes noticeably higher than most of the cast, combined with his aerial movement, ability to air dash and above average distance on Spectral Leap, he can go deep off-stage and is less likely to be forced to rely on his Up-Special than the rest of the cast.
  • Vulnerable Recovery: While less reliant on his Up-Special than most characters and granting respectable distance, Spectral Leap is extremely slow at 40 frames of startup before going invisible with no invincibility to speak of. Danny is extremely vulnerable to edge guarding without his double-jump and air dash
