Basic Combos
These are combos that every Rolf player should use. Combos that start with 2A > 5A don't require that sequence to function properly. 2A > 5A serves as extra damage, and it is only used when close to the opponent. Unless stated otherwise, these combos do not work on Alvan, Juri, Kazuma, and Roomi when they're crouching.
2A > 5A xx 2, 2B xx 66, 5B xx 236+C xx 360+C = 156 Damage
2A > 5A xx 2, 2B xx 66, 5B xx 214+A / 623+C = 104 / 127 Damage
- End the combo with 214+A if you know you're about to stun the opponent.
- End the combo with 623+C if you want to build stun, or if you know the first hit of Planet Breaker will stun before the second hit.
- The second hit of 623+C whiffs against Alvan, G. Done, Juri, and Kazuma when they’re crouching.
66, 214+A, 2B xx 214+A = 99 Damage
- Inflicts bubble stun.
- This combo works on any character.
66, 214+A, 2A > 5A xx 2, 2B xx 66, 5B xx 623+C / xx 236+C xx 360+C = 142 / 200 Damage
- Ending the combo with xx 623+C inflicts star stun.
- If done correctly, the first hit of 623+C stuns before the second hit.
- End the combo with xx 236+C xx 360+C to deal immense damage.
Link Combos
These are Rolf's hardest combos because they require a specific distance and difficult timing to perform. Most of the combos use the difficult link 214+A/B, 5A to extend combos and increase Rolf's offensive options in a given situation.
8A, 3B xx 214+A, c.5A xx 2, 2B xx 66, f.5B xx 623+C = 155 Damage
- Inflicts bubble stun.
- Requires a tight link at 214+A, c.5A.
- This combo does not work against Alvan, Juri, Kazuma, and Roomi when they're crouching.
(2A > 5A)*2 xx 2, 2B xx 66, f.5B, 214+A, 5A, 2B xx 66, f.5B = 180 Damage
- Inflicts bubble stun.
- Requires a tight link at 214+B, c.5A.
- This combo does not work against Alvan, Juri, Kazuma, and Roomi when they're crouching.
2B xx 66, f.5B xx 214+B, 5A xx 2, 2B xx 66, f.5B xx 623+C = 183 Damage
- This is Rolf's best combo out of a 2B poke. 2B has good range and being able to follow up with this combo is incredibly useful.
- Inflicts star stun.
- Requires a tight link at 214+B, c.5A.
- To connect the f.5B xx 214+B, you have to slightly delay the 214+B after landing the f.5B.
- This combo does not work against Alvan, Juri, Kazuma, and Roomi when they're crouching.
