I'm READY!!!
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SpongeBob SquarePants of course! From the series of the same name, SpongeBob is a happy-go-lucky sea sponge who has been through all kinds of challenges, from saving Bikini Bottom from a robot army to saving Mr. Krabs from King Neptune himself. No matter what comes his way, SpongeBob is always ready for his next big adventure!
Gameplay
SpongeBob is an all-rounder character designed to be beginner friendly with fairly balanced attributes across the board. He has relatively quick attacks that could favor a rushdown playstyle along with a slow moving projectile that can cover a wide area of the stage. His recovery also sends him flying high up vertically which enables him to go deep off stage to secure the KO.
If you're new to the platform fighting genre and want a character that's easy to pick up and play, or if you're a veteran looking to learn the ropes of NASB's playstyle, this is one sponge you'll absolutely clean up with!
