Story

YOU SICK LITTLE MONKEY!

Winning the fight often requires solid teamwork, but unfortunately there's too many "I's" on THIS team. Ren & Stimpy from the series of the same name are a cat and dog duo who almost always find themselves in one bizarre scenario after another in every episode. A crossover Brawl tournament? That's hardly unusual for these two!

Gameplay

The two are a mix-up type heavyweight character. Ren rides on Stimpy's back which makes the duo slower and heavier than other fighters, but the trade-off is being able to attack on both sides at once. Ren deals lower initial damage and Stimpy deals higher, but delayed damage. The Log toss special also gives the two eediots a solid ranged option to cover their approach as they close in. The wide range of their attacks also makes it easier to land hits on opponents without having to reposition, which is very helpful for new players. If you want to hit hard, watch your back, and look silly while doing so, these two may just be for you!

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Cross-up Kings: With many of their attacks hitting on both sides, Ren & Stimpy can easily cross-up opponents with little commitment
  • Excellent Projectile: Log from Blammo! travels at an upwards angle and bounces across the entire stage and covers a massive area. Opponents will either have to weave in between the bounces, strike it back with a Strong Attack, or commit to a double jump to get over it.
  • Mediocre Recovery: Their recovery sends them straight upwards, but unlike Spongebob's its not nearly as fast or high. Combined with their heavyweight status they're not suited for chasing off stage and could have a hard time getting back once sent flying
  • Slow and steady: Not only are they one of the slowest moving fighters but their bulkier size and weight can easily make them combo food for a rushdown character
