Pullum bullies willing opponents in the footsie game, baits their anti airs with her double jump, and mixes throws between her best normals. If she isn't in already-- Drill Purrus pokes, confirms, and punishes. She's one of two characters in Street Fighter EX to have a bread and butter combo removed between revisions.
Despite being a respectable mid tier, Pullum is among the least played characters in EX2+.
Gameplan
As game-changing as a double jump sounds, Pullum is uncomfortably floaty. Like early versions of Cammy, zoners and EX2+'s Top 4 contest Pullum's space better than she ever could. If she jumps on a bad read, she's fucked! Even when Pullum's in, Crouch Teching and EX2's infamous EXCEL Throw OS can wall her off-- Or worse, steal her turn away.
That being said, Pullum's bag of tricks runs deep. "Taco Kick" j. 4MK gives her a delayable, mixable crossup. Combine this with her 6K Throw subtly pulling the opponent out of the corner, and Pullum's already built a cute little 50/50.
When the top tiers aren't kicking over her sandcastle, Pullum plays a very creative, rewarding neutral. Ten'el Kick (214K) is a low crush she can delay, extending pressure and canceling to air super on counter hit. Drill (236K) isn't quite a combo tool, but has impressive range.
6MP is stupid. Pullum's overhead is disgustingly active and can tag opponents from nearly half screen away. It's range means she can mix it into any of her knockdowns. Like Dictator, Pullum's Guard Break beats lows.
