most of what was on this page is on other pages (like ) so im just gonna link my 'beginner resource pack master-post' thats pinned in #lounge in the marvel 2 discord for now i know this isnt an FAQ, but i think thisll help people more than what was here before. maybe we can move this over to the links page once a proper faq gets made?
GAME GUIDES:
1. jmcrofts' "5 mechanics you need to know" video. This is a simple guide that establishes the game in a easy-to-digest way.
2. Filth Gnasty's beginner guide that goes over the system mechanics, with some advanced stuff too. (there's some misinformation: [putting this here later sorry])
3. G Conceptz's YouTube channel. Home to many guides on aspects of the game, + a few character guides.
4. Joo's Combo Collection. A tool-assisted montage with VERY detailed breakdowns of the game's mechanics (that i plan to put here eventually. i've started a bit already) and breakdowns of each combo afterwards! I like using this as a way to see what characters can do, and even if it isn't all particularly realistic for people to do, it can give people ideas for combos or synergies they might not have considered before! It worked for me!
CHARACTERS
1. Andor's YouTube channel. Video breakdowns on some teams are played by the pros + videos of every character's movesets & assists.
2. Malek's guide to doing combos as any character goes over the Magic Series as well as general combo route formats.
3. Malek's guide to team building gives the general gist of how team compositions work, and what you can look out for.
OTHER KEY RESOURCES
1. Romneto's YouTube channel. home to MANY matches, combos, & HIGHLIGHTs with every character in the game. This is THE place to see what characters can really do in the hands of incredible players.
2. jmcrofts' other MvC2 videos. He has ones for specific characters, + videos on popular sets, glitches, and trivia link 1 and link 2
