Introduction
Marvel vs Capcom 2 (a.k.a. "MvC2") was released in the year 2000 by Capcom. It was the last Marvel entry in the popular Capcom's Versus Series until Marvel vs Capcom 3 was released over 10 years later. MvC2 featured 3 on 3 battles instead of the standard 2 on 2 gameplay of the previous Versus games and has been widely played at fighting game tournaments world wide.

Mission statement
Hello stranger. As you may already know by looking at the Marvel vs Capcom 2/Sentinel page, there are some serious changes afoot. The reason why I, a new player and a person unfamiliar to the game, has decided to take the mantle of fixing this wiki into their own hands, is because some idiot on the MVC2 Discord server decided to say that "the new players should stop complaining and fix the wiki themselves". First of all, fuck you, and second of all, fine, I'll do it myself.
Currently the wiki is in a severe state of disrepair, as even the God tier characters lack frame data and concise hitboxes. So here is a checklist of what will happen in the future:
1. NUMPAD NOTATION FOR ALL PAGES. The year is 20XX, we all use numpad now.
2. Frame data and hitboxes for God tiers, first and foremost.
3. BNB pages, strategy pages, synergies, and links to footage/notable players on all God tiers.
4. A page that details the current methods of playing the game online.
5. Expansion of data on esoterics, bugs, systems regarding the game. This game doesn't have a section on unfly/fastfly and it's hidden away on the Sentinel page... How useless...
6. A much more comprehensive page on the meta teams and shells.
7. Expansion of the above into proven high tiers, then proven mid/low tiers, and eventually the entire wiki.
Currently we're at steps 1 and 2. The MVC2 community and all new players need YOUR help to make the wiki a more informative place. So, who's ready to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps?
