Inputs and special commands

Expressed in the form: Notation - Move - Symbol

Single inputs Multiple inputs and special commands
  • F - Move forward - F.png
  • B - Move Backward/Block - B.png
  • U - Jump/Up - U.png
  • D - Crouch/Down - D.png
  • Note: Directions can be combined, such as crouch/block, or diagonal jump.


  • LP - Light/Jab Punch - Lp.png
  • MP - Medium/Strong Punch - Mp.png
  • HP - Heavy//Fierce Punch - Hp.png
  • P - Any punch - P.png
  • LK - Light/Short Kick - Lk.png
  • MK - Medium/Forward Kick - Mk.png
  • HK - Heavy/Roundhouse Kick - Hk.png
  • K - Any kick - K.png
  • 3P or PPP - 3p.png - All three punches
  • 3K or KKK - 3k.png - All three kicks
  • QCF - Quarter circle forward - Qcf.png
  • QCB - Quarter circle backward - Qcb.png
  • HCF - Half circle forward - Hcf.png
  • HCB - Half circle backward - Hcb.png
  • DP or SRK - Dragon punch/Shoryuken - Dp.png
  • FB - Fireball - Your character fireball motion or sometimes the synonim of quarter circle forward - Qcf.png
  • 360/FC - Full circle - 360.png
  • 720 - N/A - 360.png 360.png
  • Charge - Hold for a bit - Hold the stick in either B.png or D.png (Or both- Db.png) then complete the move (i.e., move to F.png).
  • AC - Alpha Counter
  • PAC - Punch Alpha Counter B.png, Db.png, D.png+P.png
  • KAC - Kick Alpha Counter B.png, Db.png, D.png+K.png
  • CC - Custom Combo (NOT Crush Counter, that's SFV) (P.png+P.png+K.png) or (K.png+K.png+P.png)



Combos, state modifiers and other notations

  • n. - with the joystick in neutral position
  • j. - jumping
  • nj. - neutral jump
  • st. - standing
  • cr. - crouching
  • dj. - diagonal jump
  • sj. - super jump.
  • Plus symbol (+) - Press the button together
  • X symbol (x or xx) - Cancel the previous move before the end of animation into a new one.
  • [ ] x n - A bracket refers to a sequence that is repeated "n" times. Example: "CC, c.HK, qcb+HK, [mp srk]x3, HP shoryuken."
  • Comma sign (,) - Press one button after the other in sequence, e.g.: Raging demon, lp, lp, f, lk, HP (or lp x2, f, lk, HP), or linking combos (e.g.: c.lp, c.lk, c.mp).
  • Piano: Refers to rolling your fingers through an arcade stick as if the buttons were piano keys to increase your chances of pressing a button at the right time.
  • Negative edge: Special command moves can be executed by releasing, instead of pushing, a button.
