Manuel "Manny" Pablo Guiterrez O'Brian Equihua Rivera is the son of the legendary White Pantera, one of the greatest heroes of Miracle City. He is also the grandson of the vicious retired criminal Puma Loco. At his young age, Manny hasn't decided whether he wants to be a hero for the city or a villain - as a result, he spends just about as much time stopping criminals as he does having misadventures with his best friend, Frida.
Playstyle
El Tigre is a spacie-type character who overwhelms his opponent with his blisteringly fast speed and combos. Tigre has a wide array of amazing aerials and specials, allowing him to keep his opponent cornered while still being difficult to catch.

Metagame
El Tigre is ranked 9th out of 29 on the current tier list, in the A tier.
El Tigre possesses some of the fastest movement in the game, which enables him to be a very difficult character to catch. He's also difficult to box, as he possesses a very strong combo game, enabling him to rack up damage in a matter of seconds. Neutral Special, his shine, also aids in this, allowing Tigre to tech chase fairly easily. Tigre's offense is overall extremely strong, making him a threatening character up-close.
Despite his overwhelming offense, Tigre does have some noticeable defensive flaws. Notably, unlike most spacie archetypes, he lacks a projectile, which makes his neutral game much more risky. Tigre also has a notable lack of safe confirms into his kill moves, which means that despite his ability to kill early, oftentimes he will have to be on point in order to secure a stock. Finally, Tigre is an awkward combination of light fastfaller, which makes him surprisingly easy to combo.
Tigre was a popular character in the early metagame. However, as time has gone on, his representation has dwindled, making him a rather rare character to see in tournament play. Despite this, Tigre maintains a few solo representatives, and is still viewed relatively positively in the metagame.
