What is the current tier list?

The first official tier list for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 was released on February 21st, 2025. It was organized by dille and had a panel of 23 players, made from both the NASB2Rank Season 4 Power Ranking and community representatives/beta testers.

What is Slime?

Slime is a special meter that every character has access to, and mastery over this resource is vital to success in NASB2.

How do I unlock things?

Costumes:

There are two campaign costumes for each character, Mind Control and Ghost Clone, that can be unlocked in the campaign mode by fighting those characters a second and third time.
The Ultimate edition of the game comes with an extra costume for each character.
Patrick's Elastic Waistband costume was an early adaptor bonus.
SpongeBob's Quickster costume is a bonus for buying the season pass.

Banners/Frames:
- May be randomly awarded upon defeating a boss in the Campaign.
- Win an Arcade run.
- Win an Gauntlet run.

Icons:
- Play 10 and 50 local or online matches to get the chosen character's icons.

Trophies:
- Complete a Campaign run to get the chosen character's trophy.
- Defeat a boss in Campaign to get that boss's trophy.

Where can I find tournaments?

Tournaments are typically run almost every weekday and are mostly hosted on StartGG. You can find the competitive hub on StartGG. It’s also recommended to join the Nick Brawl Grinders Discord server for alerts and discussions of upcoming tournaments. If you want to easily keep track of all tournaments as they come up, follow NASBTournaments on Bluesky.

How do I run my own NASB2 tournament?

Cherry has created an in-depth guide for hosting online and offline tournaments. This includes stage lists, game setup, seeding help, ban lists, rulesets for doubles and Squads, and many other resources.

Is there crossplay?

Yes.

(Please make sure it's enabled in Options > Online > Crossplay)

Can I play 2v2 with a friend online?

You can only play 2 vs 2 with friends online in Lobbies. There is no way to play with a friend in Quick Play 2 vs 2 currently.

Local multiplayer not working on Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming?

Xbox cloud gaming (game streaming) does not support local multiplayer for any game, which includes Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. You must download and install the game for local multiplayer to work.

How do I use my custom controls in campaign?

Go to the Time Booth and set the controls to default then back to your controller profile.

If you are starting a new Campaign, first go to Battle, Brawler Select, and select your controller profile. Your controller profile should be set for you to start a new Campaign with that controller profile.

Why are my controls/buttons not working anymore?

A simple fix for your controller not working in the game is to reset your controller profile in the game and/or creating a new controller profile.
