Sonia throws a knife. The button strength determines where the knife goes. For most versions, the knife will stop to turn in the middle, but its hitbox still remains. The frames on all of these are pretty lame, so they're not so good at zoning unless Sonia wants something to run behind. Instead, she most often uses them for setplay, spaced so the opponent recovers where the knife spins.

A — The knife flies forward without a break.
B — The knife turns in the middle of the screen and then flies diagonally upward.
C — The knife turns in the middle and then flies forward.
D — The knife turns in the middle and then flies upward.

Sonia feigns backward, then rolls forward with an electric kick. This kick is the only one of Sonia's moves which sends the opponent fullscreen — others don't push them far at all.

Same as the light version but Sonia starts with a low-hitting sweep before the mid. Either version can bait guard cancels. You can avoid either version with a dodge, but with rolls, there's a guess.

A very good DP, and an annoying one to punish because of the overhead axe kick. There's a very tight window between the hits to dodge, but you won't get a punish if you do. If you block it close, punish with sweep. From afar, you can dodge a bit before she hits the peak, then punish with something ranged like First Impact or a sweep. Causes a ground bounce on hit.

Sonia's preferred way to end combos. The axe kick whiffs on characters with low crouch heights, but in combos, the launch makes this a non-issue.
