Rage of The Dragons/Sonia

STORY

Sonia Romanenko, daughter of a wealthy general was raised in luxury in a war-torn poverty-stricken country. Due to political tensions, her father was murdered and her mother went missing and Sonia was dragged into her country's civil war. Honing herself for combat, she was trained by one of her father's political partners in the art of assassination. Years later, Sonia learned the person who trained her to kill was the one behind her parent's murders. Sonia attempts an assassination but fails, fleeing to America and taking up work as a hitman.

After arriving in Sunshine City, Sonia joined the Black Dragon sect to pick up work and lay low. After climbing up the ranks, Sonia eventually learns the true identity of the Black Dragon and gets into a tense relationship with him. After months of falling out with the sect, while out on the job, Sonia confronts Jimmy on a job and immediately falls in love with the older Lewis brother. Sonia convinces Jimmy to let her tag along and settle the score against her former boss, the Black Dragon!

Color Selection

Sonia is a strong all-rounder with options for offense, defense, and neutral play. If you want a well-rounded character with good utility, pick Sonia.
Pros	Cons
Great Versatile Toolset: Sonia is great at just about everything. She has decent zoning, good rushdown thanks to her Fascination Sharp command grab and good defense with her Serpent Slash DP and Locational Supers. She can also read and punish guard cancels using her Serpent Bite Special. High Damage Combos: Any combos Sonia uses meter in always deal very high damage. "Safe" DP: Sonia's Serpent slash has so much hitstun on the final part, it's very hard for anyone to punish it without spending meter to guard cancel.	DP doesn't hit crouching: Sonia's Serpent Slash cannot hit crouching opponents and leaves her open for a punishment. Abubo is the only exception due to his size. Poor Zoning Utility: Her Snake Hold projectiles aren't the best since they take a while to come out. There's no realistic use in the different directions the knives can go.
