The Game Engine

Each gem is activated by qcb + 3 punches. If you have more than 1 gem you can toggle through the list by pressing start.

Gems System

Time - Faster ground movement, altered normal jump arc off dash.
Character Bonus: Shuma Gorath, Hulk

Space - Armor, stamina bonus, don't receive chip, opponent pushed back further when blocking.
Character Bonus: Magneto, Juggernaut

Soul - Health regeneration.
Character Bonus: Iron Man

Power - Increased attack power, most throws cause FS.
Character Bonus: Wolverine, Psylocke, Captain America, Spider-man

Reality - Normal attacks shoot various projectiles. Light - small fireballs; Medium - Ice spike wave (Punch: down, Kick: up); Hard - Electric spheres (Punch: homing, Kick: Burst)
Start creates a special item thrown from around the top of the character in a small arc that has a lot of dizzy potential (and uses up more gem meter). It can be thrown whether you're idle, attacking (specials/supers included), blocking or being hit.

Mind - Super meter regeneration.

For characters on top, hold up for 4 secs. to gain alternate color
For characters on bottom, hold down.
