|description= A far cry from Alpha 2 where the developers seemingly didn't test the move. Jaguar Kicks can actually be used to go over and BEAT fireballs. You can even COMBO or blockstring off Jaguar Kicks!!! This makes Jaguar Kick go from a suicidal move that you only use in CCs (like nearly every other trash move in Alpha 2) to a good move which is the reason to use Adon in Alpha 1. Ryu cannot cr.MK into HP Hadouken (aka Knockdown) on hit unlike Alpha 2, but he can try to get out of st.MK to Jaguar Kick blockstring with DP, which leads to the next point with Jaguar Tooth

Adon's Standing/Crouching WP, WK, and Standing MP can all chain into a stronger attack. For example, WP,MP,SK.
Be annoying. You have good normals, good supers, and some cheeky tricks like the cr.HP that goes around fireballs. <br>

Unless birdie,sodom,or sagat, the opponent must be standing. So most likely after a cross up, a close roll punish, or if a wiffed DP something to that exstent. Note that stand hk hits slightly farther then sweep.
Duck lp/lk, duck mp/stand mp/stand mk, level 1 qcfX2+p.
rdp+lk, duck lk, duck hk/stand hk/level 1 qcfX2+p.
On ducking opponent or after hitting a late jaguar kick.
Air knock down(kick super, jaguar tooth, jaguar kick etc) jaguar knee.
Works as long as you havnt juggled more the 2 hits in the air. Rollable.

Most likely only on dizzy opponent if not going for the super.

Note that adon, along with guy, chun li, and sodom*(not including his reversal only moves)is one of the character who can not escape akuma and guys throw loop with out a reversal super. And even then he can be punished after the super wiffs. A jump lk, and lk jaguar kick switchs(still is blocked normally)with most characters in the corner.

A far cry from Alpha 2 where the developers seemingly didn't test the move. Jaguar Kicks can actually be used to go over and BEAT fireballs. You can even COMBO or blockstring off Jaguar Kicks!!! This makes Jaguar Kick go from a suicidal move that you only use in CCs (like nearly every other trash move in Alpha 2) to a good move which is the reason to use Adon in Alpha 1. Ryu cannot cr.MK into HP Hadouken (aka Knockdown) on hit unlike Alpha 2, but he can try to get out of st.MK to Jaguar Kick blockstring with DP, which leads to the next point with Jaguar Tooth

A decent annoyance and movement tool. The Jaguar Tooth is useful as a niche special move, it is safer on block unlike Alpha 2 but like in Alpha 2 you can use this to whiff punish or do mindgames, but as usual with Adon's moves, it's better here than there. Again going back to St.MK into Jaguar Kick, Ryu could reversal DP to hit you out of it, but if you instead st.MK into Jaguar Tooth, then you can punish that DP.

Super Combos

Jaguar Varied Assault

On round start (or when you're close to the opponent), unless you're blocking before the flash, this super is unblockable. Unlike Alpha 2, this super is a great rush super with awesome range and good damage. Jaguar Thousand

Jaguar Revolver

Good to punish fireballs with. If you hit this, you can combo into Rising Tiger for more damage. INSANE damage off Level 3 into Rising Tiger.

The Basics

Advanced Strategy

Adon's Standing/Crouching WP, WK, and Standing MP can all chain into a stronger attack. For example, WP,MP,SK. Be annoying. You have good normals, good supers, and some cheeky tricks like the cr.HP that goes around fireballs.

Combos

Stand lk, duck hk/stand hk

Duck lk, stand mp, duck hk/stand hk Unless birdie,sodom,or sagat, the opponent must be standing. So most likely after a cross up, a close roll punish, or if a wiffed DP something to that exstent. Note that stand hk hits slightly farther then sweep.

Duck lp/lk, duck mp/stand mp/stand mk, level 1 qcfX2+p.

rdp+lk, duck lk, duck hk/stand hk/level 1 qcfX2+p. On ducking opponent or after hitting a late jaguar kick.

Air knock down(kick super, jaguar tooth, jaguar kick etc) jaguar knee. Works as long as you havnt juggled more the 2 hits in the air. Rollable.

Jump hk, duck lp, stand mp, jaguar kick. Most likely only on dizzy opponent if not going for the super.

Tidbits

Note that adon, along with guy, chun li, and sodom*(not including his reversal only moves)is one of the character who can not escape akuma and guys throw loop with out a reversal super. And even then he can be punished after the super wiffs. A jump lk, and lk jaguar kick switchs(still is blocked normally)with most characters in the corner.
