- Manon is a grappler, Guile is a zoner. Sometimes she just may not get in.
- Don't jump at crouching Guile.
- 2MK and 6MK are dominant pokes, but can be countered somewhat reliably by Drive Impact.
- Guile likes to [1], hit him with a 214HK/214KK to get him to stand up.

Navigating Guile's fireballs is a very tricky task. He has 3 different speeds of Sonic Boom alone, and he can further vary the speed and timing of his fireballs with Sonic Blade. Getting in on Guile requires precise usage of 236P~K, 236[P], Parry, and jumping.
