- Sits in the highest health bracket
- Great mobility options & speed through hop dashes and tatsu
- Best damage output in the game, regular combos can drain roughly 60% of the opponent's health or more depending on the circumstances.
- Access to some touch of deaths if the player has consistent enough execution for it, though some of them don't work on every character (or are at least extremely difficult to do on them if not)
- By far and away the best character at grappling, not only having a great throw range, but access to Big Brunch allowing him to start highly damaging combos that can drain roughly around 70% of your opponent's health or even potential touch of deaths, as well as being able to option select anti airs from the throw
- Great normals with very effective ranges and utilities
- Extremely fast, rewarding and practically unreactable high low throw mix & pressure, very few characters can deal with it and even those struggle against it
- Has access to an iceball projectile as well as ES Ice Tower with both capable of travelling full screen
- Access to some of the best anti airs in the game, most notably Ice Tower being a massively disjointed anti air with low profiling that's air unblockable, making it extremely difficult for many characters to approach him from the air or such
- Thanks to a bug, Ice Puddle can be done instantly from a hit or whiffed 5MP kara cancelled at specific frames, giving him access to an extremely fast far ranged unblockable attack that can also potentially be confirmed into.
- Demolishes a majority of the cast, only very few characters can fight him

- Wide hurtbox
- Slow walk speed
- While guard cancel is still solid and can deal big damage through the ES version with a big hitbox, it is not as fast as most of the other top tiers' guard cancels
- While Ice Tower is a fantastic defensive tool, he lacks invulnerability outside of guard cancelling
