Introduction

Elias dedicates himself to saving people who meet misfortune in their lives. This includes siblings Cassandra and Oni and later, Alice who is possessed by an evil spirit. Concerned for Alice, Elias faces the problem of removing the spirit without harming Alice and believes the answer lies within Johann.. The Black Dragon.

Elias is a good balance of offense and defense thanks to his toolset. With big buttons, semi-safe moves on block, huge slow-moving fireball good for oki pressure, easy high/low mix-ups and a very strong command grab Elias has almost everything to keep the opponent controlled. However, Elias does suffer from short crouching hitboxes. Some moves like cl.C, 5C and his Guard Cancel whiff on crouching opponents such as Pupa, Alice, Jones, and more.


Pros	Cons
Overall good normals. Especially his jumping normals. 2C is Elias' multi-tool serving as an anti-air, combo starter, and a mix-up starter. Safe special attacks on block. 623A/C command grab is great for opening up defensive opponents. Decently fast 6A overhead that can be special canceled. CD, First Impact, has some I-frames on start-up and can be used to avoid projectiles at a close distance. Recovers health on 41236B/D and 632146A/C.	Slow start-up on most C/D normals. Awkward tag-in attack that can be jumped over or low profiled easily. No I-frames on 632146A/C. 5C, cl.C, and Guard Cancel can be low profiled by crouching characters. CD, First Impact, needs to be spaced properly to hit anything since it has a slight dash forward. 214C has no use since it can't be linked into thanks to its start-up dash.

Fast command grab. Great for mixing up your offensive options.

Magnus - 214A/C<br.

Upward punch followed by a short fire gyser. Don't use the C version, the dash before the move comes out takes too long.

Holy Flare - 236A/C

Big wheel of fire. C version moves faster than the A version. Slow start-up, but can be followed up on or be used for oki pressure. Hit and blockstun is massive, if blocked in the air you can score a super or special move hit.

Hell Or Heaven - 41236B/D

Hitgrab. Elias runs and steals your life force. Returns 40% of your total combo damage back to your current health.

Super Moves

Maximum Delliurium - 632146A/C

Elias books it right at the opponent, grabs them, and "Borrows" their life force. C version does slightly more damage.. 50% of the damage you deal is added to your life. Absolutely NO INVINCIBILITY FRAMES ON THIS SUPER!! It's good for punishing whiffed normals or hops, however.

Duplex Combo - 236BC >> 236BC

Elias runs into a 9 hit flurry then passes the opponent to the tag partner. If followed up with another 236BC at the cost of another meter, you can do a follow-up attack. Elias' unique duplex attack is with Alice.
