Elias dedicates himself to saving people who meet misfortune in their lives. This includes siblings Cassandra and Oni and later, <br>

Overhead.

Grabs the opponent by his shirt and punches him 4 times that  sends him flying.
This move is unblockable and comboable.

Punches upward and a fire wave rises up near him.
C version dashes in a short deistance before doing the punch. 
A version is comboable, C isn't.
(a)Holy Flare - qcf A/C. 
Raises his hands and releases 2 fireballs in circular motion. 
Its slow as hell to come out, but its bigger than any of the other projectiles that most characters can't jump over it.
Stuns the opponent a bit long
(a)Heaven or Hell - hcf B/D. 
He runs in, if it connects, he strangles the opponent with one hand burning in white flame, then throws them away.
30%-40% of the damage you inflict with this move alone adds up to your life.

Runs toward the opponent. 
If he hits, he holds the opponent on the neck with both hands in white flame for a short time then throws them away.

STORY

Elias is a traveling priest from Ireland who was born into a high-class strictly religious family. After Elias turned into a young adult, a tragic murder occurred within the Patrick family and Elias was pinned as the culprit. Even though he was innocent, he was swiftly sent to prison. While in prison, Elias lost his religious faith and decided to pick up boxing. Shortly after, he met the prison's priest who restored his religious faith and taught him the arts of Exorcisms.

Years later, Elias was acquitted and released from prison. He dedicated his life to saving those who meet misfortune in their lives. Over time, he built a shelter orphanage in Sunshine City and saved many from their struggles. One day, Elias received a call from a client to help with the possession of a young girl and this girl was Alice. Not wanting to harm Alice, Elias couldn't use his methods to rid the evil spirit of her body. So he seeks another solution, which is to seek out the Black Dragon, Johann.

Elias is a good balance of offense/defense, with great pressure tools and a combo heal. He's fantastic at close range but struggles at mid-long range.
Pros Cons
  • Combo Healing: Elias can heal using his Hell or Heaven special or both of his supers, Maximum Delerium. It's a slight heal, but it's enough to make a difference.
  • Great Pressure:Elias has a High/Low mix-up with a decent reward, a fast command grab, and access to rapid chains to keep the pressure up.
  • Amazing First Impact: His impact's hitbox shrinks on the first few frames and allows him to dodge attacks at close range. It also doubles as a good anti-air.
  • Strange Guard Cancel: Elias' Guard Cancel is a two-hitting attack, it's weakness shines since its 2nd hit can be low-profiled by most of the cast.
  • Slow Zoning: Holy flare is the worst fireball in the sense of speed. It's not a reliable zoning tool and can be easily dodged.
  • Close Range Only: Elias only shines in close ranges. Anything else, he must commit to a jump or bait the opponent into making mistakes.
