A style of [[Karate]] practised by [[Ryu]] and many other Capcom fighters.  The three basic moves in 2D fighting games are the [[Hadouken]] (fireball), [[Shoryuken]] (rising dragon uppercut), and [[Tatsumaki Senpukyaku]] (hurricane kick).  Any warrior that can perform a variation of at least two of these moves can be considered a pseudo-Shotokan warrior and a variation on Ryu.
