vs. cornered SA1
After baiting a cornered Jamie's SA1 from just blocking on his wakeup, Rashid can forward jump over Jamie to side switch, then 6KK~6KK to side switch again and set up ideal spacing, then SA2, then do wind-boosted HK eagle spike as a punish. Video example. Works against either version of Jamie SA1.

If you safe jab or safe jump Jamie SA1 you don't have enough time to jump over him, so just hold parry and get a more standard punish.

vs. OD Amnesia

  • After jabbing OD Amnesia in the corner, Rashid is +7~8.
    • Immediate SA2 will beat JP doing anything other than his SA3 or blocking, and trade with his jab for full combo. If he blocks, Rashid SA2 will absorb the OD Amnesia bombs, allowing him to continue his offense.
    • 5MK will frame trap a jab, and he can link SA1 safely due to the cinematic having full invuln.
  • After hitting OD amnesia with wind-boosted HK or MK Eagle Spike...
    • ...VS a midscreen JP: You can safely hold parry until you've blocked the bombs.
    • ...VS a cornered JP: Backdashing then jumping back will make both bombs whiff.
  • Amnesia also loses to fully charged meaty Whirlwind Shots, as it can't counter projectiles.

Rashid 6HK can hop over Juri fireballs fairly consistently. If used at close range immediately after she uses her fireball you can punish counter her, but this also works at longer range to hit her trying to approach behind the fireball without giving her a chance to react with a DP.
