Super Dragon Ball Z/Android 18/Skill Tree

From SuperCombo Wiki

Skill Overview

Android 18's Skill Tree primarily focuses on expanding her tools for close-range offense. Her Battle Skills grant her new tools for conducting and capitalising on mixups and okizeme, her Passive Skills further aid her offensive capacity with buffs to her damage and movement, and her System Skills giver her extra help in closing the gap. Because her Skill Tree is so singularly focused on her close-range tools, inheriting skills that help her play at further distances is usually considered a must for Android 18.

Skill Recommendations

Skill Tree

Sdbz ps atk up.png ATK Up > Sdbz bs surround attack.png Surround Attack > Sdbz bs rising sun.png Rising Sun > Sdbz ps impact up.png Impact Up > Sdbz ss armor strike.png Armor Strike / Sdbz ss shield sprint.png Shield Sprint

  • Sdbz ps atk up.png ATK Up is recommended here because 18's aggressive playstyle means she builds a lot of meter, giving her space to opt for more damage.
  • Sdbz bs surround attack.png Surround Attack is a good option not just because it gives 18 a tricky movement tool, but also because it also gives her access to Sdbz bs rising sun.png Rising Sun, which can turn any ground confirm into a juggle.
  • While Sdbz ps impact up.png Impact Up and Sdbz ps ground speed up.png Ground Speed Up are both equally viable, Impact Up is usually the preferred option, as it increases the launch height on Rising Sun, allowing for more consistent and damaging combos in a greater number of situations.
  • Sdbz ss armor strike.png Armor Strike and Sdbz ss shield sprint.png Shield Sprint are both great for 18, as they grant some extra utility to her offensive approach tools. Sdbz ss assault style.png Assault Style is more situational due to it not coming into play until 35% life, but it can't hurt if you feel you need an extra comeback factor. Pick what you like the most.

Inherited Skills

Battle Skill: Sdbz bs flex laser.png Flex Laser / Sdbz bs g slicer.png G. Slicer
It's up to preference, but projectiles are good for 18, who doesn't have much in the way of those otherwise.

System Skill: Sdbz ss armor strike.png Armor Strike / Sdbz ss shield sprint.png Shield Sprint
Take whichever of the two you didn't take on your skill tree. If you took Sdbz ss assault style.png Assault Style, pick one based on preference.
