The Very Basics

If you've played any fighting game before, this page wouldn't be very useful to you at all. However, if for whatever reason you need to read this, it won't be long.

Walking is the simplest way to move around the stage, and is accomplished by pressing either Towards (walking forward), or Back (walking backward). Note that walking backward is slightly slower than walking forward.

Crouching is accomplished by tilting your joystick in any of the three downward directions. Crouching allows you to dodge attacks that have higher hitboxes. Crouching also allows you to block low, which is needed to defend against some attacks, but that would be further explained in the page on blocking.
