Introduction

Breakers Revenge is a 2D fighter created by Visco in 1998 for the Neo Geo MVS. It is the third in the Breakers series after the unreleased prototype Crystal Legacy and Breakers. This is a small update to the previous game, only adding Saizo and his stage.

Breakers Revenge is a fast-paced fighter with an emphasis of freedom. Allowing dash cancels, chains, juggles, and a breaker system that lets players escape from combos early. The flexibility of the combo system combined with the risk of the breaker system makes it an easy game to learn but also hard to master.

Story

The Fighting Instinct Tournament (FIST) is held by the Huang Financial Group. The winner of FIST gets a chance to challenge the tournament organizer, Bai-hu. Secretly, Bai-hu is an evil spirit using the tournament to select the strongest fighters so he can possess them and enhance his dark power; the previous winner of the tournament, Dao-Long's father, is the current body for Bai-hu.
