Introduction
Andy is a shinobi that practices Shiranui ninjutsu. He has at his disposal a fireball for zoning/poking and a traversal special that does more damage than just a jumping normal. For anti-airs, Andy has multiple metered and meterless options such as an invincible dp, a high priority flying kick with a parabolic arc, and an S Power move with an even higher priority hitbox than the aforementioned flying kick. Suffice to say air superiority plays a role in Andy's game plan. Andy is a solid character with fighting game fundamentals in mind, and more. If you like ninja characters or shotos, or want a fireball/dp character with a command grab, Andy may be for you.

Offense
Use 16 for traversal when safe as this builds meter. If you land a jump-in and the opponent is standing, it is best to go for a chain ending in 4

, a special move or DM. If you land a jump-in and the opponent is crouching, it is wise to go for 3
into rekkas. Hi Sho Ken is useful as a long poke, not so much for zoning.
Defense
623 is your best special anti-air. Otherwise, guard 6
is great for low profiling jump-ins and high attacks. Cr.

are great buttons for active defense. Andy has decent to good feints, so there's no harm in using them if you have the life lead. Kuuhadan and Chou Reppa Dan have high priority hitboxes and are great anti-airs, but the motions are long as far as number of inputs and charge time respectively; take care to not make it obvious you're buffering/charging one of these moves.
