"Alright!"
Ken Masters (ケン・マスターズ Ken Masutāzu) is the deuteragonist of the Street Fighter series. Similar to his longtime best friend and rival Ryu, Ken's goal is to test his power against many different fighters and strives to become stronger, but holds more restraint due to not wanting to jeopardize his family life.

Ken is an upper mid tier in SF++ and just definitively worse than Ryu in vanilla.

Ken's is vulnerable for the first 4 frames although he can block during them. Ryu's Shoryuken, however, is fully invincible. Also Ken's Medium Kick has significantly more start-up although this is hardly relevant as this move is rarely used anyways.

Since Ken with perfect DP inputs is vulnerable for 4 frames between DPs and can be forced into chip-block by Hadoken which lacks end lag on hit, it is quite easy for most of the sf++ cast to create consistent counter play. In fact those four frames are pretty awful for Ken as most characters can just come in during the ending and throw out their unblockable. Leading to Ken not only being legal but actually upper mid tier.
