In-depth Analysis
Qualities :
- One of best zoning characters cause various fireballs at air and ground with good startup (best fireball of game)
- Small hitbox making people modify their playstyle against Bao. Bao is one of more annoying characters to face thus
- One of best characters in counter mode
- His usual combos are pretty safe on block
- One of best j.cd of game
- Can jump off walls, which is really useful given his playstyle
- His air d + B considerably slowed down opponent's animations, which makes this move unpunishable in many situations. His air d + A has good priority and wide blockstun.
Faults :
- Many normal attacks are pretty bad : few reach and average priority
- Not really combo friendly (his dms don't pass in combos, with 1 very useless)
- Don't built meter quickly
- Average damage
- Uncancellable cd
- No viable anti-air
- Is bad at infighting
