Birdie is a non-playable character in the first Street Fighter game as one of the ten CPU fighters.

Birdie in Street Fighter 1 can best be described as a train, because once he gets going, he is almost impossible to stop. However he can also play a strong hit-and-run play style, or even zone. Swapping between these styles keeps will certainly keep the opponent guessing the opponent guessing.


In SF++, Birdie is selected by holding Lk.png at the title screen/"NEW CHALLENGER" screen and then releasing the button on the country select/"RYU vs. KEN" screens respectively.
