Mediawiki upgrade
I was wondering, who runs the server? Any plans to upgrade the Mediawiki installation? It's already up to 1.14 and we're only at 1.11.--Arc impulse 14:07, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Wiki logo

Character Portraits

Pages for Deletion
There is an issue with all of the pages that are simply just a character name, for example the page titled Ryu, right now it redirects to a proper page Ryu (ST) which in general is good. The problem though is that it hinders the user from searching for just Ryu. Since the page redirects the user doesn't get an option to see all the listings with Ryu in the title. It would be nice if someone could go through the list of Redirects and delete those simple character name pages, thus opening up the option to search for those character names properly. I happily volunteer for the task except like most users I do not currently have the abilty to delet such pages. A. C. Glass 23:54, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Adding pictures of hitboxes
Hello ! I've started gathering images for the USF4 characters wiki I've been trying to add images of hitboxes in the "Insert photo here" box next to each move, but it does not appear in edit mode, and it ends up very ugly. How can I do it properly? I tried creating a thread in the forum but 20 days later, no answer

How does #motion work?
Is it a template? A MediaWiki page? How does it map text to icons? How do I get under the hood?
Image uploading difficulty
I wanted to upload anti-aliased versions of the attack button icons (e.g. 
), but when I attempted to upload one, I received errors of the form:
- Could not read or write file "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/2/2a/Lp.png" due to insufficient permissions or missing directories/containers.
- Could not store file "/tmp/phpLZA9yQ" at "mwstore://local-backend/local-public/2/2a/Lp.png".

Possibility to turn on MediaWiki Subpages?
Could it be possible for the subpages feature from MediaWiki to be turned on in here? It would make it much easier to navigate character pages for certain games as long as the formatting guidelines are followed. Can we change the games that have an image on the frontpage?
Could we reorganize the frontpage so that the games that have an image logo are more relevant? My idea is (if we're limited to the current 9 games): SF5, USF4, MvCI, SFxT, UMvC3, Skullgirls, 3S, ST, and ..... X. I would prefer Fighting EX Layer but it could really go to any game, as long as it's a game where people regularly go to SRK for info (ie not Soul Calibur or Smash). I also nominate FEXL because it's related to Street Fighter EX and thus related to Capcom, which is synonymous with SRK.
In addition, in the "Quick Links to other games" we should swap some pages out, in particular we should remove from the frontpage: Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Smash: Brawl, Smash: Melee, KOF 2002, Injustice: Gods Among Us, HD Remix, MvC3 Vanilla. All of these games either have a direct upgrade, or several new games released in the same series.
If you want my opinions on what should go there let me know, but my choices are mostly old games and I'm nobody in particular.
