Greetings, I'm Jake, and I've been playing fighting games since I was knee-high to a footstool. Starting with Street Fighter 2 Turbo Edition on my aunt's SNES, all the way to SFIV and KOFXIII today, fighting games have always been a passion of mine, and I'm always eager to pick up new and old games alike, experiencing the characters and their differing styles, realizing archetypes across the genre, learning the unseen mechanics at play from other players I've met along the way. Even at my age(29 at the time of writing this), and after so many years of playing, I'm still learning new concepts and ideas and still growing as I play along and I'm hoping I can share what I know with this wiki and help flesh it out to help other players at it has helped me in the past.
