My name is Eric Tennet Jr, however, most of my gaming friends know me as Kaiten. I'm currently 23 years old and have loved fighters even way back when I was button mashing Street Fighter II: Championship Edition on Sega Genesis. I first started taking fighting games more seriously when I got my hands on Naruto: Ultimate Ninja for PS2. Coincidentally, the unofficial main site (Shishi-rendan) was made by Jaxel who left years later. Jaxel as most people know is a popular streamer who hosts the 8wayrun site and because I was still subscribed to him on Youtube from the Naruto days, I noticed he started uploading videos of Marvel vs Capcom 3. After watching a few videos, I decided to get better and learned things like Bold Canceling with Dante, Tri-dashing with Dormammu, and even started practicing on P2's side so that I wasn't more dominant on one side of the screen than the other. I never participated in big tournaments though I did manage to go 2-2 at my last 8 on the Break appearance a few years back. However, after learning MvC3 (and UMvC3) I wanted to test my execution in other FGs from popular games like Street Fighter IV to less common ones like Chaos Code and Arcana Heart. I don't really compete but I just love playing a new fighting game and breaking down the mechanics as well as seeing the combos you can create in game. A friend of mine told me about a Kenichi game on PS2 and after playing it, I wanted to update the Shoryuken.com wiki with correct information as well as add to it.
