I love fighters, especially 3d fighters. My favorite fighters are 1st: Virtua Fighter, 2nd: Soul Calibur, 3rd: Tekken. I remember playing the first Street Fighter at my corner store when I lived in the bronx. Then I got a super nintendo and lived on street fighter 2. Then I got turned on to 3d fighters when I played virtua fighter for the first time in the arcades in my mall. I remember being blown away. There was nothing that looked or played like that when that game dropped. Then tekken dropped and I imported tekken 2 for my ps1. I did the trick were you leave the tray open and get a twisty tie to push down the button, and the Japanese tekken 2 worked no problem. I had a big advantage against my friends because they didn't get it until it drop on the US. Then tekken 3 dropped when I was in college and thats all we played in my dorms. Then I imported a dreamcast and was blown away by Marvel vs Capcom and then soul calibur. I did play soul edge before it but it wasn't as good as tekken. But soul calibur blew my sox off. I also ended up getting viruta fighter 3. Then VF4. But when VF5 dropped that took the cake. VF5 and VF5 showdown is my favorite fighting game of all time.
