1) Life Gauge


The amount of life a character has left.

When a character gets hit, some of the damage they take is recoverable. This is indicated by the red section of life on the life gauge. This can be recovered by tagging out the character or activating X-Factor.

2) Team Members


Displays the other members on your team. Color indicates selected assist. When a character is defeated, their portrait will become grayed out.

3) Hyper Meter


The amount of Hyper Meter you have built up. You can have up to 5 stocks, and you start every match with 1.

Some Hyper Combos power up a character for some time. When this happens, the game displays a gauge indicating how much time is left before the Hyper ends directly above the Hyper Meter.

4) X-Factor


Indicates if X-Factor is available. If it isn't, there will just be a metal X with no effects. Depending on the level you have, the X-Factor visual effect will pulse more and the sparks will be bigger.

5) Timer


The amount of time left in a match. Starts at 99 seconds, but the seconds count down slower than real seconds, counting 1 in game second for about every 2 real life seconds. When the timer reaches zero, whoever has the highest life percentage across their entire team will win the match.
