Problems with Death Moves

I have not changed the Death Moves section out of courtesy for the other editors, but I have some serious problems with it. Firstly, it makes a statement that Death Moves are basically where your damage will come from. This seems biased to me, as not everyone relies on Death Moves to be effective. Sure, they provide the most damage from one hit, but it seems me that properly executed combos (especially with Turtle Shell equipped) are what can really deal out the damage.
Secondly, I'm absolutely sure that the statement about Beam Struggles is incorrect. I took a long time to study the mathematics behind all the Death Moves in Budokai 3, and certainly those studies involved uneven Beam Struggles. For the purpose of clarity, I interpret the section to be saying that if one person has a single beam move equipped and the other has it double-equipped (or simply Breakthrough), a Beam Struggle cannot be done. If I have misinterpreted, forgive me for my misunderstanding. Under this interpretation, it is most certainly false. I could have, say, Frieza with a single Death Beam equipped vs. a Nappa with Breakthrough using his Break Cannon. Even though Frieza's Death Beam is tremendously weaker, the Beam Struggle will still occur.
Finally, it does not seem to make any distinction between moves that are simply bursts and the beams that create Beam Struggles. This is where I may be misinterpreting the section's statement about "levels," and if that is the case, it could at least use some clarification. Nappa is perfect the perfect example here, as his beam (Break Cannon) is stronger than his burst (Bomber DX), and yet the Break Cannon is what creates the Beam Struggle.
As I said, I am not editing the article with a change this serious out of courtesy and because I am not very experienced as wiki editor. If I get feedback telling me to go with it, I will do so most gladly (and, of course, keeping it much more brief than I did here). I apologize for my stupid mistake earlier.

Whether or not the individual's damage will come from death-moves or just the strings/chains out of personally preference, does not change the fact that death-moves are where most of your damage will come from. In most cases, it makes some characters tops in damage (Bardock, Gohan, Kaioken Goku, etc.) with being able to use their death-moves multiple times within a single combo, all while the death-move is unaffected by damage scaling. Because of damage scaling, and for example, a 533 hit combo w/o a death-move by Kid Buu will probably do around the same damage as a 33 hit combo that ends with his level 2 death-move. And as for the beam struggle stuff... it probably is wrong as someone has told me before but I didn't care to double check because the information isn't that important as it will never happen in a match with decent players anyway... it's not that serious and I personally dont give a shit about it. But I didn't even know it said that, it's been a while since I read most of the stuff on the front page so go ahead and change that section if you like. --Escobuu 23:50, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Breakthrough tier list

This is to try and discuss it here, without all of the bias of GFaqs.
