Strengths Weaknesses
  • Great Mobility: Roy is very fast, allowing him to easily get in and use his close-range sweetspots. In addition, his great fall speed makes him good at getting out of juggles.
  • Great Damage: Roy has a plethora of combo starters that lead to amazing damage, such as his jab and aerials.
  • Explosive Kill Power: Roy is great at killing, with his aerials, Forward Smash, and Side-B all killing very well. In addition, his amazing jab leads into kill confirms, including his infamous “Jair”(Jab into Bair) confirm.
  • Amazing Aerials: Outside of his Dair, his aerials are some of the overall best in the game. Nair and Fair start and extend combos, Bair is a great kill tool, and Uair is amazing for juggling. Outside of Dair, his aerials are very safe, ranging from -4 to -6 on shield.
  • Dominant Neutral: His amazing tools combined with his mobility makes him a dominant presence in the neutral game.
