Notation

Since Brawlhalla has made its way to mainstream, there are plenty of ways to play the game, keyboards, controllers, mouse and keyboard etc. So the general notation that people use will be listed here.

Lights

Light Attacks are the universal ways to get combos in Brawlhalla, every weapon and unarmed has 6 sets of light attacks

Neutral Light (Nlight)
Nlight is the light attack you get when you don't press a direction and light attack.

Side Light (Slight)
Slight is the light attack you get when you press either forwards or backwards and light attack

Down Light (Dlight)
Dlight is the light attack you get when you press down and light attack.

Neutral Air (Nair)
Nair is the light attack you get when you jump and press light attack and no direction.

Side Air (Sair)
Sair is the light attack you get when you jump and press either forward or backwards and light attack.

Down Air (Dair)
Dair is the light attack you get when you jump and press down and light attack.

Signatures (Sigs)

Signatures or Specials are the attacks do a lot of damage and change from weapon to weapon.

Neutral Sig (Nsig)
Nsig is the signature you get when you press signature and no directional input

Side Sig (Ssig)
SSig is the signature you get when you press signature and either forward or backwards.

Down Sig (DSig)
Dsig is the signature you get when you press signature and down.

Up Sig (Recovery)
Recovery is the signature you get when you press signature and up or signature and any direction except down in the air.

Ground Pound (GP)
Ground Pound is the signature you get when you press signature and down while airborne.

Misc

This is other notation you'd to know for certain combos, but there isn't an exact place to categorize it.

Gravity Cancel (GC)
Gravity Cancel is when you press dodge and a light attack or a signature to preform the grounded version of that input while in the air.

Chase Dodge (CD)
Chase Dodging is the momentum based dodging that you get after you land a attack.

Weapon Throw (WT)
Weapon Throw is the act of throwing your weapon. You can chase dodge after a successful weapon throw hits the opponent.
