Avid fighting game player since SF1. Favorite fighting games include King of Fighters '98/'98 UM, ST/HDR, Alpha 2, SF4 series, and Samurai Shodown 2. Lots of local tournament experience, but it's a very small pond, sadly.
Originated the use of Spaced Repetition algorithms for fighting game training, and am looking to develop this system further, hopefully in conjunction with a much more advanced player than I. I'm very interested in the question of just how we could possibly systematize and standardize the way that people approach learning and training fighting games, to try to bring things in line with other competitive endeavors that tend to have a much more structured approach.
Hope to contribute to the wiki where I can, with a primary concern of mine being its increased accessibility for new players. It's my belief that the more people we can level up, the stronger the scene will be, and not just in playstrength alone.
