Introduction

General Raam PLACEHOLDER CHARACTER STORY

General Raam PLACEHOLDER GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW

Strengths Weaknesses
  • Fastest Grab in the West: RAAM has the fastest attack in the game with S Dominance, a frame 1 command grab that he can slip through otherwise tight offense.
  • Comeback Potential: RAAM's Instinct cranks his high damage up to 11 and beyond, if he can land an opener.
  • Easy Target: It's difficult for RAAM to amble through a zoning obstacle course with his tall frame and floaty jump. He can only get in with a lot of patience or a well-timed Kryll Rush.
  • Easily Combo Broken: With only a single linker and 3 autos, RAAM can struggle to stay in the combo state.
  • Weak to Throws: Ironically, RAAM's options for beating grabs are limited to his slow jump, Shadow Dominance (throw invul for only one frame), or his surprisingly excellent backdash.

Universal Mechanics

Instinct

Kryllstorm: A huge swarm of Kryll covers the screen, building Potential Damage on the opponent all the while. RAAM can shimmy back and forward while holding Kryll Shield.

Combat Traits

Deadly Stomps: RAAM can tack extra damage on a downed opponent with MK and LK. These stomps can be broken, and counter-broken.

Kryll Swarm: Kryll Shield, Emergence, and Kryll Rush all inflict the opponent with a poison debuff that drains 14% over 10 seconds. The effect goes away if RAAM is hit.
