Isn't it true that the Anniversary editions removed stored moves unless you hold start? I find myself unable to do stored super with Chun-Li at least if I forget to hold start.
The notation is not helping, and it ambiguous at the moment. In many character sections, some moves are referred to with different abbreviations, such as "fr", "fp" and "hp" for fierce punch. I would suggest having a standard. Preferably, the SF standard, that is, no "medium" or "light" versions of the attacks, but jab, strong and fierce for punches and short, forward and roundhouse for kicks. - Nobody cares about jabs, roundhouses, etc. anymore. The modern SF normal move names are always Light (Lx), Medium (Mx) and Heavy/Hard (Hx) and either Punch (P) or Kick (K). I have added information about kara canceling. In fact, "kara" is a word that means canceling. They will refer to Ryu's staple fierce into fierce shoryuken as "high punch kara shoryu." However, this is not what I have added, but some history plus a more precise explanation.
The section about renda canceling would state that the most practical combo with it is Ken's double cr.short into super, which is not true. Renda canceling was used back in Champion Edition with good results for Guile and Ken in cross-up combos or meaties into flash kick and shoryuken, in this order. These two combos are still possible in ST and are certainly easier to do. For instance, the American player Marsgatti uses the same combo from CE in ST in the same situation, that is, on crouching characters. --Oldschool BR 01:57, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
