Strengths Weaknesses
  • Naturally great range: Rain uses a scythe which gives her a lot more range than most of the characters in the game, easily helping her put up a fight from a distance.
  • Freezing Blade: Rain's Plasma Field allows her to combo after the install's timer is up, and allows her to combo back into Freezing Blade if she has the meter to do so. This makes Freezing Blade one of the most "Just Do It" Plasma Fields in the game, as anytime Rain has enough meter, she can YOLO and win the round no matter how far behind she is.
  • Zoning set-up character in a game where stage control doesn't exist: Rain's design doesn't fit in a game where everyone can move freely around with the simple push of a button. Her special attacks can be easily avoided with a sidestep and some patience, which makes conditioning your opponent into being zoned out quite difficult.
  • Among the slowest in the cast: Rain will often struggle getting fast pokes in, hit-confirming combos, and using supers as the majority of her attacks take awhile to come out.
