The Timer sits between the [[Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike/New/Life Meter|Life Meters]] at the top of the screen. The Timer starts at 99 and begins counting down when the round begins. After the Timer reaches 0, the round immediately ends, and any further damage caused by remaining attacks is ignored. The winner of the round is the player with the largest remaining Life Meter. If both players have equal Life Meters, then the round is a draw, and both players are awarded with a win.
