Smoke

Originating from Prague, Tomas Vrbada was recruited by the Lin Kuei for his impressive ability to escape capture. Able to transform into a wisp of smoke, his talent has proved useful on countless missions. Smoke has no memory of his childhood. His only family is the Lin Kuei, more specifically the younger Sub-Zero, who is like a brother to him. It has been Smoke's hope that through the Lin Kuei he will discover his past-- and the origin of his power.

Basic Attacks

Sweep

Very fast sweep.


D.png + Fp.png

Good fast low poke. Great for dash in pressuring. Can catch them out of the air if they try to jump over it.


Command Normals

Safe overhead. Bufferable into smoke clouds. Use for poking.


Kombo Attacks

Smoke's main launcher combo. Safe on block.

Special Attacks

Smoke Cloud

Smokes zoning tool. It tracks and is safe on block. Juggle after a cloud hits. No longer OTG's opponents after patch.


Teleport Punch

Fastest teleport in the game. Can catch most off guard with this. Just don't overuse it. On block fully punishable.


Teleport

Smoke's Akuma-like teleport. Can be hit out of at startup and at the end of it. Once in cloud form Smoke is invulnerable to normals for a few frames and also specials, except for Ice clone.


Shake

A counter projectile move. Always guaranteed and opponent can never escape it. Prolong the shake by holding FP. This move makes Smoke the best anti-zoner in the game. Opponents cannot spam projectiles at all on him.


Enhanced Special Attacks

Enhance Shake

Along with projectiles it also counters normals (except for lows and sweeps). Great for anti-air.


Teleport

A great get-out-of-danger move. It has invincibility frames and the move itself goes through any attack. Works great also on wakeup.


X-Ray Attack

A very FAST Xray. Think of it like a 33% Teleport punch. Great for projectile punishing. Can also be charged and dash canceled for upclose tricks.
