Basic Attacks
Uppercut
Noob has one of the fastest uppercut speeds in the game. Great for anti-air because it covers most of the top of his head.
Command Normals

Kombo Attacks
Assassinate
His best mix up string. Easy hit confirm at any point even when blocked. 3rd hit can be long delayed which can be buffered into.
Special Attacks
Shadow Charge
Noob's main weapon. Spam it from a afar! When the opponent gets hit by a shadow tackle they MUST block another tackle or remain grounded. They cannot get up and jump or strike. After patch it is now a overhead attack.
Teleport Slam
Good to use during projectile wars. Can catch someone when they're shooting there projectile. After patch the teleport is slow but has a bigger hitbox.
Shadow Upknee
Noob's anti-air. You can tack on a Shadow charge if they're high in the air enough. Also this move is good to use when you have them in the corner because it recovers fast and if they try to jump they will get tagged. You can start combos with it if you catch them in the air in the corner.
Blackhole
Blackhole got patched and now comes out faster and recovers faster. Now you can do actual setups with this move. Instead of spamming shadows you can throw out blackholes to fool opponents.
Enhanced Special Attacks
Enhance Disabler
Reverses opponents controls. Best place to use this is at the end of a combo in the corner. Next hit they have to guess if its a high or low.
X-Ray Attack

Basic Strategy
This character was built around defense. His moves are best suited for long range kombat and most of his attacks have great push-back. Basically you want to create distance and play keep away until you get cornered...
Advanced Strategy
The meat and potatoes of Noob's strategy against any character is to corner them, so good spacing and corner awareness are key. Noob's corner game is ridiculous, and is only second to characters like Sub-Zero. The corner also opens up Noob's hard-hitting combos, pressure, and resets.
Now your asking yourself, "how do I corner my opponent if I'm playing keep away?". It's simple, you neutral throw to change positions. Noob arguably has one of the most useful throws in MK9. His throw has the best range and it pushes his opponent back to jump distance. That all works in the characters favor. Here's an example of using the throw to switch positions:
- opponent jumps in anticipating a Shadow Charge, you can use D3 to lower his hitbox then immediately neutral throw your opponent into the corner.
