Sakura runs forward behind a large fireball, uppercutting the first opponent she runs into on hit, and bouncing off them on block. This assist is very notable for having a lot of priority against other projectiles, being able to block most non-super projectiles in the game. This lets you use Sakura as a shield for the point character to run behind, making approaching characters like Blackheart, B.B.Hood and even Sentinel a bit easier. When Sakura transforms into Dark Sakura, this assist loses the fireball Sakura runs behind which means it will no longer block projectiles and is then somewhat limited in neutral. |
