In Tekken 5, Bruce Irvin returns to the King of Iron Fist Tournament as a seasoned Muay Thai fighter with a dark past. Once a police officer, Bruce's life took a drastic turn after a tragic plane crash erased his memories and severed ties with his former life. After being presumed dead, he was found and manipulated by Kazuya Mishima, eventually becoming one of Kazuya’s trusted enforcers within the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Despite his ruthless demeanor, Bruce is a complex character driven by loyalty and survival rather than malice. In Tekken 5, he serves as Kazuya’s bodyguard at G Corporation, which stands in opposition to the Mishima Zaibatsu.
